The Covid period has brought lasting changes in the world of coproperty. General assemblies were held remotely and in the era of teleworking, many co-owners no longer wish to go back.
For the syndicates, who used systems such as agconnect, 65% of assemblies were held during the day, with shorter durations thanks to the automatic entry of votes in particular, and a higher participation rate, which is also considerable progress.
Today, even if sanitary constraints are no longer the same, videoconference general assemblies continue. But we have gradually moved from 100% video meetings to hybrid assemblies, mixing in-person and distance participation, in addition to postal voting and procurations.
And agconnect happens to be managing all these different participation modes in one single tool!
So, what technical criteria should be considered to ensure the success of your hybrid GA?
First, you will need to determine which of these two options corresponds to your assembly:
- The meeting-type assembly, with the participants around the same table
- The conference-type assembly, everyone facing the managers
This first technical choice will be crucial, because it will subsequently lead to the choice of various sub-elements, particularly in terms of room, to be considered:
- The type of room (meeting or conference)
- The size of the room, resulting in 2 main constraints, that of the image (filming a 360° room in the case of a meeting, and filming in front of/behind in the case of a conference) and that of the sound (having to pick up the sound of a participant all the way to the back of the room to broadcast it to people at a distance, because most webcams can only pick up sound from a fairly limited distance, in conference mode)
- Whether the room is temporary or permanent
- The weight of the equipment and its maneuverability
- The occasional or regular aspect of hybrid assemblies (which will have an impact on the budget allocated to equipment).
Once your technical criteria are determined, you will have to choose your equipment. To learn all about the type of material to choose, check out our blog article on the subject! In addition, to find out all about the role of the manager in a Hybrid GA, click right here.
