How to make your Hybrid GA successful

As we have mentioned in previous articles, the COVID-19 crisis has given rise to unprecedented changes in the field of real estate, both at the legal and societal levels, creating de facto a real Digital Revolution. Particularly at the co-ownerships level, with the birth of Hybrid GAs.

Are you ready to ride this wave, and above all, do you know the 3 fundamentals to make your connected General Assembly a success?

The experience of the hybrid GA is an exercise that may indeed seem difficult for the manager who will have to take care of several rooms at the same time: the physical room and the connected room.

Essential: make sure you have good sound quality!

If you are remote, you need a good quality headset/mic. This can be an Airpod type wireless headset or equivalent, provided that the sound environment is ''calm''. And also take into consideration that a GA can last a long time, so a wired mic/headset will prevent you from breaking down in the middle of the GA. In addition, these wired headsets are often more comfortable and offer better sound quality.

If you organize a hybrid GA, you need minimal equipment to reproduce the sound and also use it as a microphone. We have validated particularly high-performance equipment, which allows configurations of up to 20-25 participants and acts as a microphone/speakers as well as an omnidirectional webcam. It's simply stunning as an immersive experience and it allows you to cut out the multi-camera view (the manager and the co-owner who speaks).

In this configuration, it is possible to have a U-shaped room and an OWL in the middle or a classroom type configuration with participants in a school row (in this configuration, it is preferable that the participant who wants to speak gets closer to the micro OWL to make the experience smoother).

Don't neglect the video

In fact, the video is only a secondary element that enhances the immersive experience. On the other hand, it is necessary to have a webcam of at least average quality. The OWL equipment is perfect but recent PCs and recent tablets (even a Smartphone) will do the trick. If the GA is hybrid, it will be necessary to provide a video projector to allow broadcasting on a screen.

The attendance sheet

In the digitalization process offered by agconnect, the attendance sheet is also dematerialized. For remote co-owners, no problem, they sign directly on their equipment. On the other hand, for those who come in-person, they can sign directly on their Smartphone or on the manager's equipment; it is also more professional to present the tablet directly to them for the signature. It is also possible to sign directly on the GA manager's PC.

You are now ready to carry out your hybrid and connected GAs! Prior practice or training will help you prepare well in order to master the tool completely. Note that agconnect offers the Hybrid GA special technician service!
